Masonic Ladies Festivals
The Ladies Festival is the culmination of a long year where the ladies have stayed at home while you attend to lodge affairs. It is imperative that this high profile event is a success, so that they know exactly how much you value their support.
I am trained and experienced in all aspects of ladies festivals. I will work very closely with the Festival Secretary or President to ascertain all your needs and ensure that they are met.
I am able to advise on all aspects of protocol at these events for those who require it, not least the many, many toasts! On the day I will:
- Direct all guests, keeping them apprised of what is happening
- Co-ordinate and announce the receiving line
- Welcome the President/Worshipful Master and His Lady
- Announce the Lodge chaplain to say grace
- Announce all toasts at the correct points during the meal
- Announce Sung Grace after meals
- Call upon the President/Worshipful Master to propose the Loyal Toast
- Assist with handing out specific gifts and calling upon Stewards
- Announce the Ladies song (I am a capable singer and can conduct this if necessary)
- Call 3 cheers for the President and His Lady
- Call the President/Worshipful Master and His Lady to the dance floor
- Assist with any raffles
- Lead singing of the National Anthem
This list is not exhaustive, and I will be at your side to relieve you of the stresses of the event, carrying out countless more tasks to ensure the event is a resounding success!
